2010 Dodgeball FusionFall Tourney
This is a sport that Alshary Sharpshoot has thought of in order to make the game more fun. Alshary think that since there are no games in FusionFall, this may be the only possible game that we can play competitively in teams besides racing. This dodgeball is with rockets and/or grenades. There are eight teams named after areas in the game, each with their own uniform.
The games are played in Habitat Homes, Forgotten Falls, Mojo's Volcano, Fuse's Lair and Townsville Center.
Here is how the game works. There will be 3 rounds. 5 vs 5 play in the rounds. The team wins that round will have one victory. If they win the next round, they win 2-0, if they lose the next round, the score is 1-1. The third round is the tie-breaker. Spectators are scattered in the play area to detect cheaters or solve disputes. If possible ties occur in the 3rd round, the players will choose 1 person from their team to play against one person from the other team. Whichever team wins, they will win with the score saying 'Standoff". Everybody will treat each other nicely despite their background.
Sign up to any team you want to sign up to, or sign up be a spectator.
Layout:

The time and date will not be set until we have enough players and spectators. Please no negative comments. Let’s all give this a chance since it could be the only possible sport in FusionFall. *
Video game Review by Koji Ozora Battlefield 1943
1943 was a good game. Though I do like the battlefield series, this was the best so far. In 1943, you can be The US Marine Corps, or The IJN, Imperial Japanese Navy, The game takes place with the Pacific Campaign. Islands such as Iwo Jima, Wake Island, and Guadalcanal, and for a special the Coral Sea. The game's weapons have a choice of 3 classics guns. Overall the game has great sound, graphics, and gets a 10. Play me: ID: wworv Item Spotlight by Alshary Sharpshoot Remember Goop from Ben 10? I sure don't. This week's Item Spotlight is the Goop Acid Buster! Forgettable to many, this level 9 pistol is a mission reward, from a mission, I don’t know which one. If you do remember that this gun exists and still have it, "THAT'S GREAT!" says Frank West. It is one of the many Ben 10 items you probably don't have! (Is it because most Ben 10 items suck? I don’t know). This has been this week's Item Spotlight. Now go get a Hex Staff or a Swampfire Torch.Featured Fan-Fic of the week sign ups Do you want your fan-fic featured in the Darklands Gazette? Post here the name of your fan-fic and we will post the first chapter of your fan-fic here! Unexpected crowd! By Koji Ozora Well i was in-game yesterday and found a lot of players at the former market, Mt. Blackhead. I was surprised by the crowd and thought it died after F2P. I wasn't able to interview players, they weren't in the mood I guess. The crowd was restarted by newbs, which were kind of making the same offers, for example: "Selling (Item name here) for (price here). It was weird. So you may see a crowd or not. So go to Mt. Blackhead, and make a price!
Riddles: Last week’s riddle was answered correctly by ThePlayer01, 123Something, Zak, and Roller! This week’s riddle is: Complete the sequence of letters: o,t,t,f,f,s,s,_,_,_ and explain what the letters represent. Question of the week by the Darklands Gazette team Q of the week: Do you think some NPC’s from the shows Cow and Chicken and Totally Spies may be added someday? Movie Review by Alshary Sharpshoot: Vampires Suck Remember the spoof movies that got you a cheap laugh but did not get anyone’s money at the box office? Films like Disaster Movie and Superhero Movie. Well, Vampires Suck is that, with 80 % Twilight and 10 % Alice in Wonderland, Lady Gaga, and other pop culture movies and stars from the recent years. The film basically makes fun of the entire Twilight franchise (but nobody's complaining ) and switch some of the characters names around (like renaming Bella to Becca and changing Jacob's last name from Black to White, which is obviously a Pokemon reference, DUH!) The plot remains the same, with a few idiotic twists and jokes along the way. While actors are pretty good, the guy who played the Zulti-something has to be the funniest. Overall, it’s a pretty funny movie, but you should go watch Scott Pilgrim instead. Vampires Suck gets a 3 out of 5. Which of these areas do you wish were real? By TurqoiseAngel Mount Blackhead-9 Cul-de-sac-6 City Station-18 Hero’s Hollow-5 City Station wins!!!!
Thank you for reading this week’s issue of the Darklands Gazette!! The answer to this week’s riddle will be posted in next week’s issue with the Forum name of whoever got it right first.
